Guam is the largest island in Micronesia which is six thousand miles west of San Francisco and fifteen hundred miles southwest of Tokyo. Its area is 550 square kilometers and southern side of the region is volcanic origin with a mountainous terrain of red clay hills, waterfall, rivers and streams.

The people of Guam have been U.S. citizens and have been represented in U.S. Congress a nonvoting delegate. In 1949, U.S. President Harry Truman signed the Organic Act making Guam an unincorporated territory of U.S. with limited self-governing authority, granting American Citizenship to the people of Guam.

The tourism started advancing to Guam in 1967, because air travel service was started between Guam and Japan. Since then the economy started to expand and diversify. U.S. Dollar is the basic currency of Guam and they are protected by the Constitution of United States.
